Woven in the South Island on looms more than a century old, this textile brings new life to wool once destined for landfill — fibre originally spun in New Zealand in the 1950s and 60s. Designed by Liz Mitchell, a powerhouse of New Zealand design, and crafted in her Auckland atelier, it is a work deeply rooted in place. From loom to auction, its journey has remained entirely within Aotearoa.
